I just finished my own lecture on Podcasting and Blogging. I feel so bad cause I forgot to record the lecture. Either way I got a huge score cause the Keynote speaker was willing to record his speech for the podcast. So I am sittin in the Blackwell auditorium waiting for the Keynote to speak. Right now Randolph Macon's marketing supervisor is speaking about the history of the school because its apparently the 175 birthday tomorrow for the school. The keynote speaker btw is Dr. Walter Witschey who is the head honcho at the Science Museum of Virginia. I am so excited because this is the first time I have like a legitimate podcast. I am tired though cause I had to get out here at 7 in the morning. This Randolph Macon lady is goin on and on and on about random facts of the school. I have to admit though that its nice of them that they have hosted this conference for like the past 10 years and I remember coming when I was younger and presenting on Hyperstudio. Ooo 12 miles of ethernet cables... so interesting... why couldnt I get WiFi when I needed it then?? hehe... Now apparently they are just doin a full upgrade on those 12 miles of cables. Ok so I think this lady is pretty much a sales lady tryin to get the teachers here to plug the school to their students... ok finished with that... time for Keynote??... yes... hehe awesome... I really am just waiting for him to start speakin so I can get the recorder and listen to the first podcast guest lecture. :o) hehehe... ok i will be quiet now as he is about to speak...
