My friend Bill

My friend Bill... This is the man I want to grow up and be like... He's an exec at a sizable internet company nearby with TONS of webpages as his clientelle... and I swear the guy hasnt grown up at all since I have known him. We were leaving his house the other night and he just HAD to show us his new Air Hog airplane which is so awesome. I mean thats the thing I wanna get to that age and still something as simple as a toy like that can intrigue me... I wanna grow up to be just like you Bill!! You Rock!!

Mackro Fhotografy

I learned this fun trick of how to do macro photography and its relatively cheap... just take your kit lens for any SLR camera and flip that bad boy around and voila!! Instant macro lens... anyways... this is a shot I took of the Dime with some salt on it... pretty crucial huh?? Thanks for stopping by...

Amazing little kids...

The kids at these VBS things are always interesting. For one thing I really start to get the sense of my age when I come here and see how some kid from last year has grown. I see the little boy with the bowl haircut move from the pre-school class last year to the main group this year. The same little boy was shy and quiet but now he's tellin me off for taking pictures of him. Its kinda tough doin this VBS thing cause I always get reigned into doin something when I dont want to. Mainly I just wish I could sit and stay with Anna but she's busy with the kids and there are other teachers in there that arent as cool with the idea as last years. I actually shouldlnt complain about gettin extra work todo. Anna comes straight from work (which is at a daycare) to pretty much continue at another kinda daycare for about 3 hours again, from 6-9. So she has been clocking in a nearly full time job plus another 3 hours here doin almost the same thing. I think I might go visit her since I have been talkin about her. Be back in a bit...

VBS 2k5

Ah yes... The annual event of Vacation Bible School here at my church. It is always associated with some prepackaged theme that we apply to the decor and curriculum of the week. This year's is Construction Zone: Building Character Like Jesus. Its a cool idea. The kids of course love it. I am here right now before the kids arrive sitting at the main computer doing some video work while I wait. Now I bet you are wondering why this is such a big deal. Why would he make a post about something as simple as a church Bible camp for pre-k to 5th graders... Well the reason is because of the underlying significance of the camp for my personal life. VBS was the location of the first time I told Anna that I loved her. Ok ok... I know I am gettin sappy but its true. Its so cool to have stuff like this attached to my memories. I have so many now thanks to Anna. I honestly sat with her for a long time and tried to remember memories from when I was little and I couldnt remember any but a few of the not so good ones. Well its different now. I have so many good memories now thanks to Anna. Its just phenominal. One of the big ones is when I told her that I loved her for the first time and it was here at VBS last year. Sigh... ok enough sappy stuff... Its about to start here so I better get goin so I dont miss anything. Laters...

Summer Moon

This is of course Earth's largest satellite. It isnt too focused which I'm not happy about but this crop was pretty drastic. I added the little image of the Apollo landings so you can get an idea of the lay out. It is kinda cool to think that I was looking at place where man has walked yet there is a vast void between me and that place. Just cool. Anyways... gotta get to work, thanks for stopping by.

Sorry I havent posted in awhile I just am in a rut emotionally and though I have taken pictures I have yet to post anything cause I havent looked thru them. I just purchased a very sweet telephoto lens from Tamron for my Canon and I have started to use it here and there. But then I was dumping pix off of my camera and lo and behold theres a gorgeous still life that Anna shot just off the cuff. I hope you enjoy. :o) Good job baby!!
